CHARLEY
DIXON

Charley Dixon is a South African DJ, producer and creative force originating from Barkly West, near Kimberley in the Northern Cape. From the vibrant beats of Afro House to the hypnotic rhythms of Afro Tech and the soulful depths of Deep House, her sonic wizardry is reshaping the scene.

Trained at the Volume Music Academy in Braamfontein, Dixon mastered the art of DJing and caught the attention of industry elites. She then unveiled her producer alter-ego, debuting with the emotionally charged ‘Wagga’ in 2023 — a heartfelt homage to her late father.

She has since grown into one of Southern Africa’s most sought-after female selectors, performing from small clubs to international festivals including sets in Mozambique, Swaziland and at Bulgaria’s Blanket Palooza Radio Show.

Her monthly mix series ‘Sound Scapes Unlocked’ runs on Apple Podcasts, SoundCloud and Spotify, with the visual element on her YouTube channel.

In December 2025 she launched Dixon Flair Xperience, a self-funded outdoor lifestyle and music event brand crafting immersive experiences by lakes, rivers and dams. As sole founder and event coordinator she conceptualises, finances and executes every event from scratch — starting with Legacy on the Dam at Hartbeespoort Dam, 300 attendees and 16 artists.
